About your destination

The drive from Chennai to Tirumala hill takes you across seven peaks ‘Adishesha’. The Tirumala hill gained its fame by housing the Venkateshwara Temple. It is said that the ranges of the Tirumala hills forming a natural arch called as ‘Silathoranam’ naturally forms the face of Lord Balaji. The temple is known for its exotic Dravidian architecture because of its pyramid shaped towers. Tirumala is also said to have the second largest zoo in Asia which is believed to have been built of the concepts of Hindu Mythology. Some of the most rare plant species are said to be found in Tirumala.

Climatic Conditions

Tirumala’s summers call for light clothing, while monsoons and winters beckon a thicker layer to ensure warmth.
